We provide AI-assisted chat experiences via multiple “buddies,” with subscription features.

6. Your content
You own your messages and uploads. You grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the Service (e.g., deliver responses, maintain history, provide support). You are responsible for what you submit.

7. Intellectual property
The Service and all related IP belong to us and our licensors. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Account deletion removes stored data, but subscription cancellations must be done in the App Store/Google Play.

- In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
- Manage/cancel in the App Store/Google Play Subscriptions settings.
- Trials/intro offers (if any) are shown on the paywall.
- Refunds are handled by Apple/Google per their policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. You may not use the Service in ways that:
4.1 Unlawful or harmful activities
You may not use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- engage in fraud, deception, impersonation, or financial scams;
- infringe or violate the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights;
- transmit malware, harmful code, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service, systems, or networks.
4.2 Prohibited content
You may not submit, generate, request, or encourage content that involves:
- minors in any romantic, sexual, intimate, or suggestive context;
- sexual, erotic, or explicit material, including attempts to bypass filters;
- sexual violence, exploitation, or non-consensual intimate content;
- hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats of harm;
- extremist, violent, or terrorist content;
- activities intended to cause physical harm, property damage, or enable illegal behavior.
Note: Healthy, PG-13 romantic expression between consenting adults is permitted and available.
4.3 Integrity of the Service
You may not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or extract underlying data, models, or code;
- attempt to bypass usage limits, safety filters, subscription features, or security measures;
- use automated scripts, crawlers, or bots to access or interact with the Service;
- use the Service to build, train, or improve competing AI models or datasets.

- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that results will be accurate or reliable.
- AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate; you assume all responsibility for how you use or rely on it.
- DailyLifeBuddy is not a medical, psychiatric, or therapeutic service. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional advice. You should always seek qualified professional support for medical, mental health, or other urgent issues.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates, licensors, and providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, goodwill, data, or other losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service exceed the greater of:
(a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the last 12 months, or
(b) USD $50. - Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limits; in those cases, these limits apply only to the maximum extent allowed by law.
10. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
- Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in Alameda County, California instead of arbitration.
- You and DailyLifeBuddy Technologies Inc. agree that all claims must be brought in your individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
- Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation of claims with other arbitrations are not permitted.
- If arbitration is not enforceable in your jurisdiction, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alameda County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
- Local consumer protection rights may still apply.

We may update these Terms; continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post updates on our website.

- your content or misuse of the Service.
