- What is DailyLifeBuddy?
DailyLifeBuddy is a privacy-first AI app with multiple specialized Buddies—each with their own personality and role (e.g., Integrative Health Guide, Mental & Emotional Healer, Life mentor, Finance Advisor, etc) for your digital security, physical and mental wellbeing and life achievement. You can customize buddy name, avatar, and voice. All chats stay on your device. - How do I start a chat?
Open the Buddy Selector, tap a buddy, and type or use voice. - How do I hide/show buddies?
Settings → Buddy Management → toggle a buddy on/off. (Main buddy is always shown.) - How do I edit a buddy’s name/avatar/voice?
Buddy Management → tap the buddy → Buddy Profile. Saving name/voice requires tapping Save; avatar saves when you pick it. - How to set up my profile?
Use My Profile Tab, or Settings → My Profile to set how the buddy addresses you, birthday, goals, and interests. - What do I get with basic vs Premium plans?
Basic has access to Hercules, the Fraud Guardian, and Life Buddy, the general purpose AI companion. Premium plans have access to all 16 buddies to provide more specialized and personalized services. - Free trial?
If shown on the paywall, new users get a 14-day FREE premium trial. Cancel anytime in the App Store / Google Play. - How do I subscribe/upgrade?
The Pricing and Subscription tab, or Settings → Plan → Subscribe / Upgrade plan. - How do I restore purchase on a new device?

No. Chats are processed to operate the service; They are never used to train AI, sold, or shared. - Do you store my chat history in your cloud?
No, for maximum privacy, all chat history data, personal profile, health profile, and financial profile, are only stored in your own local device, not in our cloud. - Are images or media stored by DailyLifeBuddy?
No, Images are uploaded temporarily so the AI model can analyze them, then they are immediately deleted from cloud storage for maximum privacy. - How much storage does DailyLifeBuddy use on my device?
Very little. Only text messages and lightweight summaries are stored locally. A typical active user stores around 60 MB per year — even after several years, usage stays in the low hundreds of megabytes. Compared to apps like iMessage, WhatsApp, WeChat, and photo apps that can use 5–20 GB, DailyLifeBuddy's storage footprint is negligible. However, you can also delete old messages if you want to. - Will DailyLifeBuddy slow down my phone because everything is stored locally?
No. DLB uses efficient local storage. Even with heavy use, storage growth is tiny (about 60 MB per year), while modern phones have 64 GB–512 GB of space. Because chat history loads in small segments instead of all at once, DailyLifeBuddy maintains fast, smooth performance with long-term use. - Can I clean up or compact old chat messages if I want to?
Yes. If you prefer to keep your history extra tidy, you can compact old chat messages: Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Compact chat history. Choose how long to keep full messages (e.g., 90, 180, or 360 days). DailyLifeBuddy will delete messages older than that on this device, while keeping your small long-term summaries (“memories”) so Buddies still remember what matters. This is optional—most users never need it—but it gives you full control over your local storage. - Can I use DailyLifeBuddy on multiple devices?
Yes. If you sign in with Google or Apple, the same account works across multiple devices. For email sign-in, your account is limited to one device only, for privacy and security reasons. If you want multi-device access, please use Google or Apple sign-in. - Are my chats and settings shared across devices?
No. For maximum privacy, all data is stored only on your local device. Even if you log in on multiple devices with the same account, your conversations, preferences, and settings will not sync between them. Each device is private and independent. - How do I delete my account?
Settings → Account → Delete account (removes your account and stored data on your own device; subscriptions must be canceled in the App Store or Play Store).
