Forest Yin is an AI security and governance, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and applied AI platform leader with more than 20 years of experience building enterprise-scale cybersecurity and identity systems across both the technology and financial services industries.
Over the course of his career, Forest held senior leadership roles at Oracle, CA Technologies, Charles Schwab, and Wells Fargo, leading large-scale initiatives in identity governance, privileged access management (PAM), authentication, Zero Trust architecture, and enterprise security modernization. His work has consistently focused on the intersection of product strategy, platform architecture, governance, and operational security within highly regulated environments.
Today, Forest is the founder of DailyLifeBuddy, a privacy-first multi-agent AI platform designed to bring secure, trustworthy, and practical AI support into everyday life.
DailyLifeBuddy orchestrates 16 specialized AI agents across multiple trust-critical domains, including integrative health support, emotional wellbeing, planning and productivity, fraud prevention, financial guidance, beauty and skincare, and daily life assistance. The platform combines applied AI, multi-agent orchestration, identity-aware governance, and privacy-centric design to deliver personalized and context-aware support while maintaining strong security and safety boundaries.
Forest personally architected and built the platform’s centralized AI Gateway and control plane, governing model, tool, and data access across all agent workflows. The system incorporates identity propagation, delegated authorization, runtime guardrails, scoped retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), role-based policy enforcement, auditable execution patterns, and secure multi-agent coordination. His recent work focuses heavily on emerging AI security and governance challenges, including Agent IAM, AI Gateway architectures, policy-bounded execution, delegated authorization, AI trust & safety, and identity-centric security models for autonomous systems.
In addition to his enterprise technology background, Forest has maintained a longstanding personal interest in integrative health, wellness, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which over time also evolved into academic study. He is a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) and holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). This broader interdisciplinary perspective helped influence DailyLifeBuddy’s human-centered approach to health, emotional wellbeing, and daily life support.
